IMMERSION TO ILLUMINATION

Tiziano Vudafieri: a lamp made from recycled plastic

Throwing another plastic bottle into the trash, do you think that it could be a great lamp? We’re willing to bet that no, unlike Justin Vudafieri, who presented amazing lamp made from recycled plastic at the exhibition of «Plastic Ro-Master's Pieces» held at the Milan design week. Justin, inspired by the work of German designer of modernist, Wilhelm Wagenfeld, has created an updated interpretation of one of his works, original vase from the personal collection of Vudafieri. During the exhibition, the lamp illuminated the original Wagenfeld vase, thus highlighting the link between modern work and a source of inspiration. Wilhelm lamp consists of 12 separate parts, each of which is 1.6 m in height and almost half a meter in length. Impressive, isn't it? However, despite this fact, it is easy to assemble, disassemble and transport.
